Attorneys from Higbee & Associates, Mathew K. Higbee and Natasha Buchanan, have again been invited to present information about strategies for reintegration of former offenders at the California Gang Intervention Conference on May 30, 2012. The event, which was sponsored by the University of Southern California (USC) and the Orange County Department of Education, will be attended by more than 500 leaders in the effort to help at-risk youth avoid joining gangs or help them leave gangs.
The conference will be held at the University of California at Irvine. Conference attendees will representatives from the justice system, law enforcement, religious institutions, non-profits and dozens of other government agencies.
This is the third time that Higbee and Buchanan have been honored by an invitation to speak at the conference. Participation in the event is part of the Law Firm of Higbee & Associates’ ongoing commitment to pro bono work.
